WhatsApp Direct Integration
You can now connect your WhatsApp Business account directly to meetergo — no third-party middleware needed. Set up your phone number, manage message templates with variable mappings, and send reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups straight from your workflows.
The integration includes full template management with support for header, body, footer, and interactive buttons (URL, quick reply, phone number). Dynamic URL buttons can automatically insert cancel and reschedule links for each appointment. Phone numbers show real-time quality ratings and connection status so you always know if messages are being delivered.
During setup, your phone number is automatically registered with a secure 2FA PIN. If WhatsApp flags delivery issues, you'll see it immediately in the dashboard instead of finding out from missed messages.
Calendar Redesign
The team calendar has been rebuilt for speed and clarity. Navigation within a month is now instant — the entire month's data loads at once, and adjacent months are prefetched in the background. No more loading spinners when clicking through days.
Event cards have a unified design with type indicators: colored left borders for meetergo appointments, diagonal stripes for blockers, and plain cards for private calendar events. Overlapping events use a cascade layout where each event layers with an indent, so nothing is hidden. Hovering an event expands it to show the full time and host details.
Other improvements: the view auto-scrolls to the current time on open, a today indicator highlights the current day, selected team members persist across sessions, and a thin loading bar under the header shows when data is refreshing. Full-day blockers now appear in the all-day row where they belong.
Smarter Equal Distribution Round Robin
Equal distribution now counts actual bookings instead of rotating by last-booked order. The team member with the fewest bookings in the current period is shown first to the next booker.
You can configure the distribution period — day, week, or month — to match your team's rhythm. A max lead threshold (default: 3) hides team members who are too far ahead until others catch up, preventing one person from accumulating a disproportionate share during busy stretches.
This is a drop-in improvement: existing equal distribution queues automatically use the new logic with sensible defaults. Adjust the period and threshold in your queue settings if needed. Learn more about round robin scheduling.
