The core difference

Your mailbox sends. Not our servers.

With Mailchimp, Brevo and the like, your contacts move to yet another provider and every mail leaves through its servers. With meetergo you connect your own SMTP mailbox: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, IONOS, Strato or any other provider. Contacts and content stay in the EU, and your domain reputation stays yours.

0
US providers in the sending path

Every campaign leaves from your own mailbox. No third party sees your contact list.

100 %
your domain reputation

Mails come from your address and your domain. meetergo reads bounces back from your mailbox via IMAP.

EU
hosting for contacts and content

Contacts, consent, campaigns and reports live with meetergo in the EU. We measure opens and clicks ourselves, without storing IP addresses.

The difference is the chain, not the data centre: a newsletter tool with EU hosting that sends through its own delivery servers or a US service still keeps your contact list in a second place. With meetergo there is no second place. Your mailbox is the sending path and your CRM the only list.

Your CRM is the audience. No second list.

Newsletter is part of the meetergo suite. It starts with what other tools only get through imports and syncs: your contacts, their tags and their consent.

Contacts, not mailing lists

There is no separate subscriber list. Any contact with an email address can receive campaigns, and tags from bookings, forms and imports are the segmentation.

Forms write the tags

Any form can write tags to the contact on submit. A form carrying the tag a sequence listens for enrols new contacts by itself.

Consent from the ledger

Consent lives on the contact, collected through forms and double opt-in. meetergo checks it at send time for every mail and records the rule applied per send.

1An editor that looks like a mail

Seven templates as a starting point, then a block editor on a 600 pixel sheet: type “/” for headings, buttons, images, two columns or a personalisation field. The preview follows every keystroke, with no save button. For full control, switch to HTML mode.

  • Merge tags for first name, last name, email and company, blank instead of raw when a value is missing
  • Your brand colours on buttons and links, image uploads up to 5 MB
  • Save any campaign as your own template and reuse it across the team

Three new things in October

Hi {{firstName}},

from today you book appointments for your whole team in one place.

2Audiences from 16 filter fields, not from lists

Filter contacts by tag, language, country, city, source, creation date, consent, custom fields, or by who received, opened or clicked an earlier campaign. Conditions combine with “all” or “any”. The number on the right shows live who gets the mail and why the rest is skipped.

  • Save a filter as an audience and reuse it for the next campaign
  • Export any audience as CSV, up to 20,000 contacts per campaign
  • Recipient rule per campaign: opted in only, or everyone who has not opted out

3Automation: sequences that a tag starts

A sequence is a series of mails spaced by minutes, hours or days. It starts when a contact receives a given tag, for example from a form, or when you enrol contacts by hand. Every step runs through the same delivery, footer and unsubscribe path as a campaign.

  • Welcome series after a form, a webinar or a first booking, hands off
  • An unsubscribe, a bounce or a suppression stops the sequence for that contact at once
  • Reorder or add steps while contacts are mid-sequence without a single mail being skipped

4A report that knows every person

Sent, failed and skipped, each with a reason. Opens and clicks per hour on the timeline, every link with its clicks, bounces and unsubscribes per campaign. The Recipients tab lists every contact with a status and their history.

  • Filter by opened, clicked, bounced or unopened and build the next audience from it
  • On the contact itself: will this person get the next campaign, and if not, why
  • meetergo measures opens and clicks itself, without storing IP addresses

Deliverability that protects your domain

Because the campaign leaves from your real business mailbox, meetergo looks after the same reputation your invoices and booking confirmations depend on.

DNS check

MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your sender domain in one click, with the advice to send newsletters from a subdomain such as news.your-company.com.

Warm-up for new mailboxes

A new sender starts at 50 mails on its first sending day and roughly doubles per sending day up to 5,000. Only days you actually send on count.

Hourly sending limit

200 mails per hour by default, adjustable per sender. meetergo spreads large campaigns over time so your provider does not lock the mailbox.

Bounces and suppression list

meetergo reads bounces from your mailbox via IMAP. Hard bounces and spam complaints go on your workspace's suppression list automatically.

Automatic pause

If more than 5 percent of the first sends bounce, or your provider rejects the login, the campaign pauses. Resuming is your call.

One-click unsubscribe

Unsubscribe link in the footer plus List-Unsubscribe headers per RFC 8058, so Gmail and others show the unsubscribe button. The decision lands on the contact.

How the first campaign goes

From mailbox to report in four steps.

01

Connect a mailbox

Pick your provider from the list, enter SMTP and optionally IMAP, send a test mail. One mailbox is enough, several work too.

02

Build the campaign

Choose a template, adjust the blocks, write subject and preview text. The preview shows the finished mail alongside.

03

Choose recipients

Set filters over your contacts and pick the recipient rule. The “Ready to send?” card checks for blockers by itself.

04

Send and read

Send now or schedule. Afterwards the report shows opens, clicks, top links and every recipient individually.

What teams use Newsletter for

Three flows that work with the contacts in your CRM, no import needed.

Customer newsletter

News, offers and dates to every contact with consent, monthly or whenever there is something to say.

Key Benefits

  • Save the “Customer” audience once and reuse it every time
  • Newsletter template with highlights and one call to action
  • The report shows which topic got the most clicks

Welcome series

A form writes a tag on submit and the sequence starts: welcome at once, first steps after two days, a customer story after a week.

Key Benefits

  • No Zapier and no sync between form tool and mail tool
  • An unsubscribe stops the series for that contact at once
  • Add steps later without losing contacts already enrolled

Event invitation

Date, agenda, a quote and a button to the booking page. Then a second campaign only to those who have not clicked yet.

Key Benefits

  • Event invitation template with date, agenda and seat button
  • Filter “has not clicked campaign” for the reminder
  • The button leads straight to your meetergo booking page
