Edit existing appointments without cancelling them, distribute meetings fairly without pushing bookers weeks into the future, and create bookings in a redesigned instant booker that keeps your calendar in view.

Edit existing appointments

Open any upcoming appointment from your dashboard and use the new Edit option to change the meeting type or duration after the fact. The attendee's calendar invite and reminders update automatically, and buffers, CRM entries and scheduled reminders are adjusted in sync.

No meetergo-branded email goes out to the attendee — the change flows through the calendar invite you already share with them. Cancelled or past appointments can't be edited, and iCloud calendars receive a cleanly recreated event to keep CalDAV in sync reliably.

Load balancing with fairness that respects near-term availability

The distribution mode previously known as "Equal distribution" is now called Load balancing and behaves like most scheduling tools: bookers see the combined availability of every eligible host, and the actual host is picked at booking time based on who has had the fewest meetings.

A new per-queue toggle, Prioritize near-term availability (on by default), prevents fairness rules from hiding slots that are available soon. If the fairness filter would push the next open slot more than 14 days past your meeting type's minimum booking notice, the filter steps aside so bookers aren't penalized by internal balancing. Long-lead meeting types still get proper fairness enforcement because the 14-day window is anchored to the minimum booking notice, not today.

Redesigned instant booker

Creating a booking from the dashboard calendar now opens a side drawer instead of a modal dialog, so you can keep seeing your calendar while you work. Attendee, date/time, host, meeting type and fields are all on one scrollable form — no more stepping through three screens.

Contact and meeting type are always-visible search inputs with inline results that lock into a read-only state once chosen. Adding a guest validates the email before enabling the button, and if you pick an unavailable slot, the warning appears inline instead of in a separate dialog. A new note field lets you capture an internal note while booking, which you can optionally show on calendar cards via the new "Show note in event" setting.
