Booking pages now load instantly for Apple, Proton, and CalDAV calendars. Plus, double opt-in gets a major upgrade with a new host confirmation page and GDPR-compliant audit logging.
Faster Calendar Loading for Apple, Proton & CalDAV
If you use Apple Calendar, Proton Calendar, Mailbox.org, or other CalDAV-based calendars, your booking pages now load significantly faster. Previously, visitors might wait a second or more while we checked your availability with these slower calendar providers.
Now, availability loads instantly regardless of which calendar you use. Your visitors see available time slots immediately, making the booking experience smoother and more professional.
Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook users won't notice a difference—those were already fast. But if you've connected any other calendar type, you'll see a noticeable improvement.
Enhanced Double Opt-In with Host Confirmation Page
Double opt-in bookings now include a dedicated confirmation page where you can review all booking details before confirming. When someone requests a meeting, the confirmation email links to a page showing:
- Attendee name and email
- Requested date and time
- Meeting type details
This gives you full context before confirming, rather than clicking a confirmation link blind.
We've also added comprehensive audit logging for double opt-in bookings to meet GDPR requirements and German court standards (LG Köln). The system now tracks consent verification with automatic anonymization after 30 days, giving you legally robust proof of the opt-in process if you ever need it.
