Google Tag Manager Integration for meetergo
Load your Google Tag Manager container on your meetergo booking pages and receive booking funnel events in the data layer.
Connect Google Tag Manager to meetergo with your container ID. meetergo then loads the container on your public booking, selection, form, and confirmation pages and pushes events to the data layer, from the first page view to the confirmed booking. You set up triggers and tags in GTM as usual, for example a Google Ads conversion or a GA4 event. The booking_confirmed event also includes invitee data for Google Ads Enhanced Conversions. Optionally, you can load the container from your own server-side GTM endpoint.
Key Features
What you get with meetergo + Google Tag Manager
Funnel events in the data layer
meetergo pushes page_view, form_step_viewed, time_selected, form_started, form_submitted, and booking_confirmed, each with the meetergo. prefix.
Conversions on real bookings only
booking_confirmed fires once the booking is complete, so abandoned bookings are not counted as conversions.
Enhanced Conversions
The confirmation event carries a user_data object with email, phone, and name for Google Ads Enhanced Conversions.
Works in embeds
With an inline embed, events go straight to your website's data layer. In an iframe, meetergo forwards them to the parent page without personal data.
