What is host selection?

Host selection lets invitees choose which team member they'd like to book with — directly on your booking page. Each host shows their name, role, rating, and availability. Invitees pick their preferred person and see only that host's available time slots.

Which meetergo plan includes host selection?

Host selection is available on the Teams plan and above. The feature supports unlimited hosts per event type with no additional charge.

Can I combine host selection with routing forms?

Yes. This is a powerful combination: first qualify the invitee with routing form questions (product area, company size, region), then surface the right subset of hosts for them to choose from. You get both smart routing and personal selection.

What happens if the invitee doesn't select a host?

You can configure a fallback: either require a selection before proceeding, or automatically assign the next available host using round-robin logic.

Can each host manage their own availability?

Yes. Each host connects their own calendar (Google, Outlook, iCloud, CalDAV) and sets their own working hours. meetergo shows live availability per host — invitees only see time slots that are genuinely open.

Does host selection work with video meetings?

Yes. When combined with meetergo connect (built-in video conferencing), a video room is automatically created for the selected host. The invitee gets a room link specific to their chosen host.

Can I show host ratings on the booking page?

Yes. Star ratings, short bios, specialty tags, and profile photos can all be shown on the booking page. You control which information is displayed for each host.

Is meetergo GDPR compliant?

Yes. meetergo is 100% GDPR compliant. All data — including host profiles, invitee information, and booking data — is stored exclusively on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Nothing ever leaves the EU.
