Scheduling is a craft. The right balance of availability, control, and flexibility transforms a calendar from a simple grid into a powerful engine for business growth. This month’s updates are focused on elevating that craft, giving you a new level of command over your time, more intelligent tools for handling exceptions, and deeper platform power for seamless integrations. These improvements are designed to make your scheduling more robust, your workflows more efficient, and your control more absolute—eliminating the small frictions that get in the way of your most important work.
Gain Total Control Over Your Week with Global Booking Limits

Busy professionals often manage a diverse portfolio of meetings. You might offer 15-minute introductory calls, 45-minute product demos, and 90-minute strategic consultations. While setting individual limits for each meeting type is useful, it doesn't solve a more fundamental challenge: managing your total meeting capacity for the day or week. You might be willing to take eight 15-minute calls, but not if they’re mixed with three 90-minute sessions. Your real limit isn't on a specific type of meeting, but on your overall time and energy.
To solve this, host booking limits can now be applied globally across multiple meeting types. This new layer of control allows you to set a master limit—for example, “no more than five total bookings per day”—and select which meeting types should count toward it. When the cumulative limit is reached from any combination of those meeting types, your availability is automatically blocked for the remainder of that period. It’s like creating a shared pool of your time that your different services can draw from, ensuring you never get overcommitted.
Imagine you’re a consultant who wants to cap your client-facing time at four meetings per day to preserve time for deep work. You can now create a global limit of four bookings and apply it to your "Initial Consultation," "Project Check-in," and "Final Review" meeting types. After two check-ins and two consultations are booked for a Tuesday, meetergo will automatically make you unavailable for any of those three meeting types for the rest of that day. This enables a more holistic approach to time management, protecting your focus and preventing the burnout that comes from a calendar packed with back-to-back, high-stakes conversations.

Reschedule with Ultimate Flexibility—Even Outside Your Own Rules

Your availability rules are designed to create structure and protect your time. But reality is rarely so neat. A high-priority client needs to reschedule, and the only time that works for them is 30 minutes before your official start time. A team member has an urgent request that falls during a slot you’ve blocked for lunch. Previously, rescheduling a meeting as a host meant you were bound by the same availability rules as your bookers. This created a frustrating rigidity, forcing you to either temporarily change your entire schedule for a one-off event or handle the rescheduling manually outside of meetergo.
The host rescheduling experience is now fundamentally more flexible and powerful. When you initiate a reschedule, you will still see your standard availability clearly highlighted, making it easy to select a regular slot. However, you are no longer restricted to those times. You can now select any available time on your connected calendar, even if it falls outside your defined working hours, buffers, or other meetergo rules. This gives you an "administrator override" to make intelligent exceptions when business needs demand it.
This change transforms rescheduling from a rigid process into an empowered action. That critical client who needs to meet at 8:00 AM? You can now simply click the slot and confirm, without dismantling the 9:00 AM start time that protects your morning focus on every other day. It’s the perfect blend of structure and discretion, allowing you to enforce your rules 99% of the time while giving you the freedom to bend them when it truly matters. Your calendar now serves you, not the other way around.

Build on a More Powerful and Robust API Platform
At meetergo, we see our platform as the central scheduling engine that powers your business tools, not just a standalone app. Our API is the key to that vision, and we are committed to making it the most capable and developer-friendly scheduling API on the market. This month introduces a series of significant improvements to our v4 API, enhancing its capabilities, stability, and ease of use for our integration partners and customers building custom solutions.
These updates provide more granular control and a smoother development experience. Key enhancements include:
- Create User with Initial Meeting Type: The createUser endpoint now supports a daysIntoFuture parameter, allowing for the automatic creation of a user’s first meeting type with a predefined availability window.
- Delete User Endpoint: A fully documented deleteUser endpoint is now available, enabling cleaner and more compliant user management for integrated applications.
- Forced Calendar Sync: The createCalendarConnection endpoint now includes a setAsCalendarSync flag, allowing developers to programmatically define which connected calendar should be the primary source for sync.
- Improved Availability Logic: The availability endpoint no longer requires start and end times when a day's schedule is disabled, simplifying logic for developers.
- Documentation and Stability: We have resolved a calendar connection redirect issue that occasionally sent users to the wrong page after a successful connection and have rolled out extensive documentation improvements to make building with our API faster and more intuitive.
For our partners, these changes mean building deeper, more reliable integrations with less friction. For businesses with bespoke needs, it unlocks new automation possibilities, from custom onboarding flows to sophisticated resource management systems. This is a foundational investment in the power and extensibility of the meetergo ecosystem.

Stay in the Loop with the New Slack Integration
Instantaneous awareness is crucial for fast-moving teams. To ensure you never miss a new opportunity, meetergo now integrates directly with Slack. Once connected, you can configure a specific Slack channel to receive real-time notifications for every new booking. This is perfect for sales teams who want to immediately follow up with new demo requests or for support teams coordinating inbound help sessions.

A More Reliable meetergo connect Across All Devices
Your video calls should be seamless, regardless of how your guest joins. Thanks to recent advancements in browser APIs for WebRTC streaming, we’ve significantly improved the stability and compatibility of meetergo connect. The platform now works reliably on browsers like Safari and Firefox, and on devices like the iPad, which previously had limited compatibility. This ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for every participant, every time.

More Powerful Tools and a Smoother Experience
Beyond the headline features, this update is packed with quality-of-life improvements and fixes designed to make your day-to-day scheduling workflow smoother and more intuitive.
- A Smarter Troubleshoot Mode: Put away your detective hat. The availability troubleshoot mode is now more powerful. You can click on days marked as unavailable and see the precise reason why, whether it’s a global limit, a buffer, or a conflict on your calendar.
- Lead Capture for Booking Pages: You can now configure booking pages to operate in "Lead Capture Mode." This requires visitors to enter their contact details before they see your available time slots, helping you qualify leads and reduce drop-off.
- New kmeet Integration: We've added kmeet as a video conferencing option. It’s a great choice for users who need a reliable provider that also supports custom domains for a fully branded experience.
- Reworked Buffers for Clarity: The feature formerly known as "Flexible Buffers" has been reworked for more predictable behavior and renamed "Buffers Adhere to Availability." The description is now more accurate, clarifying that buffers will intelligently respect your defined available hours.
- No-Show Tracking on Contacts: To help you manage client relationships more effectively, contacts now automatically track a "no-show" count, giving you at-a-glance insight into booking history.
- Organized Meeting Type Settings: The meeting type settings page has been redesigned with tabs, including a new "Power-Ups" section. This brings a clearer structure to advanced settings and makes configuration more intuitive.
- Correct Answer Order in Booking Variables: For those of you customizing notifications, the M.Guest.QuestionsAndAnswers variable now correctly outputs answers in the same sequence they appear on your booking form. This ensures your automated confirmations and reminders are formatted logically and are easier for your guests to read.
- Editing Availability Times: An issue that sometimes prevented users from changing times in their availability settings has been resolved. Adjusting your schedule is now smooth and reliable again, without any unexpected roadblocks.
- PayPal Confirmation Emails Now Sent Reliably: We have fixed an intermittent issue where booking confirmations failed to send after a successful PayPal payment. Your customers will now consistently receive their confirmation email, ensuring a seamless and professional payment and booking experience.
- Consistent Page Titles Across the Dashboard: All pages within the meetergo dashboard now feature descriptive browser tab titles. This small but important change makes it much easier to navigate when you have multiple tabs open, helping you find the exact setting or page you're looking for instantly.
- Fresh Design for the Selection Page: The page where your guests choose from multiple meeting types has been updated with a clean, modern design. The functionality remains identical, so the workflow is unchanged, but the visual experience is now more polished and professional.
