This month’s update is all about bringing first-day-of-school energy to your scheduling workflows: powerful performance boosts, greater flexibility where it counts, and deeper customization to make meetergo truly your own. We’ve focused on removing friction from your most critical processes—from the moment an invitee lands on your booking page to how you manage your contacts and analyze your calendar. These updates are designed to help your team work faster, smarter, and with more control than ever before.

Up to 1000% Faster Round Robin Booking

The primary goal of a booking page is to convert a prospect’s interest into a confirmed meeting with zero friction. For teams using round robin distribution, especially with complex rules and many members, calculating real-time availability could, in rare cases, introduce a slight delay. This moment of hesitation, however brief, can be the difference between a booked demo and a lost opportunity. A high-performance scheduling experience is non-negotiable for high-growth teams.

This update introduces a completely re-engineered availability calculation engine for all round robin meeting types. By optimizing the logic that checks team members’ calendars and applies distribution rules, we have dramatically reduced loading times. Now, your booking pages will display available slots almost instantaneously. The process of creating the booking after a time is selected is also significantly faster, with improvements ranging from 200% to over 1000% depending on the complexity of your setup.

For your invitees, this means a seamless, lightning-fast booking experience that reflects the efficiency of your brand. For your team, it means higher conversion rates on booking pages and more meetings in the calendar. There is nothing for you to configure; the performance boost is now active on all round robin links.

A More Flexible and Powerful Meeting Handoff Process

In dynamic sales or support environments, the ability to hand a meeting off to a colleague is crucial. Previously, the handoff process was restrictive: you could only select team members who were available at the scheduled time. While this prevented booking conflicts, it didn't account for the real-world scenarios where a team member might be willing to move things around for a high-priority meeting. This limitation could force you to reschedule the entire meeting rather than simply reassigning it.

The handoff process is now significantly more flexible and intuitive. You can select any user in your organization as the target for the handoff, regardless of their current availability. After selecting a new owner, meetergo will check their calendar and clearly display any conflicts. From there, you have the power to decide. You can proceed with the handoff and overwrite the conflict, empowering the new owner to resolve it themselves, or you can go back and choose a different time or person.

This change puts control back in your hands. It allows you to make informed decisions based on priority and context, rather than being blocked by a rigid system. You can now confidently reassign a critical demo to your top account executive or hand a support call to a subject matter expert, even if their calendar looks busy, trusting them to manage the schedule accordingly.

Import Your Contacts with Custom Fields and Notes

Your contact data is the lifeblood of your business, but getting it into your scheduling tool hasn't always been straightforward. Manually creating contacts or relying on single-entry integrations can be time-consuming and lead to incomplete data. To make meetergo your central hub for meeting-related activities, you need a simple way to bring your entire contact database into the platform, complete with the custom data that makes it valuable.

You can now import your entire contact list directly into meetergo using a CSV file. This new import tool includes full support for mapping columns in your file to meetergo contact fields, including custom fields and notes. Whether you’re migrating from another CRM or simply want to upload a list of leads from a conference, you can do so in minutes. The importer provides a clear mapping interface to ensure your data—from names and emails to job titles and internal notes—ends up in the right place.

This enables you to enrich your meetergo experience immediately. When booking meetings through the calendar or looking at attendee details, you’ll see a complete picture of who you’re meeting with. It centralizes your data, streamlines your workflow, and ensures your team has all the context they need before every conversation, without ever leaving meetergo.

Add Custom CSS to Your Confirmation Page
Your brand identity shouldn't stop once a meeting is booked. You can now add your own custom CSS to the booking confirmation page, giving you complete design control over the final step of the scheduling journey. Match fonts, colors, and layouts to your website for a truly seamless brand experience.

Improved Link Previews for LinkedIn and Social Media
Sharing a booking link should look professional. We’ve improved the metadata on all booking pages. Now, when you share a meetergo link on platforms like LinkedIn or Twitter, it will generate a clean, professional preview with the correct title and description, ensuring your link is clickable and trustworthy.

An Even Smarter Calendar

Filter Your Calendar by Meeting Type or Channel
Quickly find what you’re looking for. The main calendar view now includes filters for both "Meeting Type" and "Channel." Instantly narrow your view to see only your "30-Minute Demos" or all meetings booked through the "Sales Team Round Robin" link, making schedule analysis a breeze.

Book Meetings in the Past
Need to log a meeting that already happened? You can now click on a past date or time in the calendar to create an event. This is perfect for logging walk-in consultations, impromptu calls, or ensuring your meetergo calendar is a complete and accurate record of all your appointments.

New Options for Calendar Bookings
When creating a booking directly from your calendar, you now have more control. A new option allows you to skip sending notifications to the attendee, ideal for internal logging. The event details now also prominently display a link to the meetergo contact record for the attendee. Finally, you can now create a booking without filling all required fields; meetergo will show a warning but allow you to proceed, offering flexibility when you don't have all the information.

Link from Booking Details to a Contact
Context is key. From the booking details page, the attendee's name now links directly to their contact record in meetergo, giving you instant access to their history, notes, and other meetings.

Smarter Defaults and Ordering
To streamline your setup, new meeting types will now default to "Calendar Invite" as the event type if you have a valid calendar connection. We also adjusted the default ordering in the appointment overview to be more intuitive, showing upcoming meetings first.

Booking Page and Integration Enhancements

Go Back to Change Duration on Booking Pages
We’ve added a "Back" button to the time selection step of the booking process, allowing invitees to easily return to the previous step and change the meeting duration without starting over.

Auto-Resizing and Alignment for Embedded Iframes
Embedding meetergo on your website is now even easier. The integration iframe now resizes automatically to fit its content, so you no longer need to specify a fixed height. Additionally, the new alignment-aware container supports left, right, and center positioning for perfect placement on your site. [See the integration docs on GitHub.]

Company Email Templates in Quick Message Modal
When sending a quick message to an attendee, you can now select from your saved company-wide email templates, ensuring brand consistency and saving time on common communications.

Chrome Extension Authentication Fix
A recent route change caused authentication issues for some users of the meetergo Chrome Extension. This has been resolved, and the extension is working smoothly again. [Get the latest version here.]

Key Fixes and Stability Improvements

meetergo connect: Fixed a rare issue where an invitee could not be let into a meeting room.

Handoff Process: Resolved an issue where unavailable users could not be chosen for a handoff. The new process allows selection and provides a conflict warning.

Form Fields: Addressed a bug where form fields marked as "hidden" were sometimes visible on the booking page.

Routing Forms: Fixed an issue where the state of a routing form could reset on window refocus, leading to incorrect routing.

Superchat Integration: Implemented stability improvements and fixed issues for users with multiple WhatsApp templates.

Carryover Buffer: Corrected an error that could occur in availability calculations involving carryover buffers.

Outlook Calendars: Fixed a performance issue for Outlook users with more than 100 calendars connected to their account.

Channel Options: Solved a visual bug on the booking page where not all channel options were visible if the list was very long.

Calendar Invites: The preview for calendar invites now renders correctly in all cases.

Mobile Microcopy: Removed redundant instructional text on the mobile version of the booking form to clean up the interface.

Calendar Import: Fixed a bug where importing a calendar could cause default data fields to be created multiple times.
