We're excited to introduce two new channels in meetergo that add even more flexibility to your scheduling. Previously, we only had options for phone and on-site meetings. With the new channels, you can now also offer incoming calls (where the participant calls the host) and external on-site meetings (where the host visits the participant at their address). The previous "Personal Meeting" channel has been renamed to "On-Site Appointment."
Our users have been trying to accommodate these scenarios with our existing channels. With the new channels, everything is optimized: For incoming calls, the host's phone number is displayed to the participant. For external on-site meetings, hosts currently still need to ask for the participant's address themselves, but we're already experimenting with address fields for the future.
Double Bookings Finally Fixed
Important bug fix: In very rare cases, when multiple participants booked an appointment at exactly the same time, double bookings could occur. We have now completely fixed this issue. When two users try to book an already occupied slot, one of them will be redirected to select a new appointment time.
Additional Improvements and Bug Fixes
We've also fixed several other issues:
- Apple calendar connection now displays correctly, even when all calendars are disabled
- Automatic scrolling to the first available date now works with unlimited future time periods
- Scrollbar in compact booking view no longer appears for long descriptions
- Fixed visual issues caused by upgrading to newer versions of Headless UI
- Original start date now included in reschedule webhook data
- Performance improvements for round-robin bookings
We hope these improvements make your meetergo experience even smoother. Have a successful autumn!
