Your New Command Center: Meeting Types Take the Spotlight

Gone are the days of landing on a separate dashboard that just showed you statistics. Now when you log into meetergo, you land directly on your meeting types overview – because let's be honest, that's where you want to be anyway.

This isn't just a cosmetic change. Your meeting types are the heart of your scheduling operation, and now they're front and center from the moment you arrive. Want to check your recent bookings? They're right there. Need to create a new meeting type? One click away. Looking to edit an existing one? No more hunting through menus.

The impact is immediate: you'll find yourself getting to what you need faster, with fewer detours through pages that don't directly help you manage your meetings. It's like having your most-used tools right on your workbench instead of buried in a drawer.

A Menu That Actually Makes Sense

We've completely overhauled the main navigation menu, and the difference is night and day. The most important features now appear first – no more scrolling through less-used options to find what you need daily.

The new menu prioritizes the actions you take most often. Your meeting types, bookings, and availability are now prominently displayed at the top. Secondary features like integrations and advanced settings have been organized into logical groups that make sense when you're actually looking for them.

But perhaps more importantly, we've decluttered everything. The old menu had grown unwieldy over time, with similar functions scattered across different sections. Now everything has a clear, logical home that matches how you actually work.

The result? You'll spend less mental energy figuring out where things are and more energy on the work that matters to you.

Edit Everything in One Place

Here's a change that will save you significant time: you can now edit workflows and availability directly within each meeting type's settings. No more jumping back and forth between different sections of meetergo to configure a single meeting type.

This means when you're setting up or adjusting a meeting type, you can handle the basic details, customize the booking flow, set your availability, and configure follow-up workflows all without leaving the meeting type settings page.

The old system required you to set up the basic meeting type, then navigate to workflows to create the follow-up sequence, then jump to availability settings to define when you're free. Now it's all right there, making the setup process much more logical and efficient.

For existing meeting types, this makes modifications much faster. When you need to adjust something, you're not navigating through multiple sections trying to remember where each setting lives.

Your Profile Menu Gets Smarter

Your profile dropdown has transformed from a basic account menu into a genuinely useful hub. Now you can see your current plan at a glance – no more wondering whether you're on the right subscription tier when you're trying to use a feature.

The new profile menu also surfaces the most helpful links right where you need them. Quick access to billing, account settings, and our improved help center means you can resolve questions faster without leaving your workflow.

Speaking of the help center, we've made it significantly more useful. Finding answers to common questions is now much more intuitive, with better search and clearer organization of topics.

These might seem like small changes, but they add up to a much more confident user experience. When you can quickly check your plan status or find help without friction, you stay in your flow state instead of getting derailed by basic questions.

Creating new meeting types used to feel like filling out a complex form. We've simplified this completely, turning it into a guided experience that gets you from idea to bookable meeting type in minutes, not quarters of an hour.

The new creation flow asks for just the essentials upfront, then lets you customize details afterward. This means you can get a meeting type live and ready for bookings quickly, then fine-tune the advanced settings when you have more time.

More importantly, the interface now clearly explains what each setting does and why you might want to use it. No more guessing whether "buffer time" means before or after meetings, or wondering what happens when you enable certain options.

The Admin Center: Organization Settings Reimagined

What used to be buried in "organization settings" is now your comprehensive Admin Center. If you manage meetergo for your team, this is your new best friend.

Everything you need to control your organization's meetergo experience is now in one place. Team member management, billing oversight, security settings, and even email template customization – it's all been streamlined into a logical, easy-to-navigate hub.

One major addition is direct access to email layout settings. You can now customize how your booking confirmations, reminders, and other automated emails look and feel, ensuring they match your brand and communication style.

The Admin Center eliminates the old problem of hunting through different sections to manage your team's experience. Whether you're onboarding new users or adjusting company-wide settings, everything is now where you'd expect to find it.

Chrome Extension Gets Smarter

The meetergo Chrome extension has received some thoughtful improvements that make it genuinely more useful in your daily workflow.

When you're on LinkedIn, you can now select your meeting link directly without switching tabs. This eliminates the awkward dance of opening meetergo in another tab, copying your link, then switching back to LinkedIn to paste it. Now it's all seamless within your LinkedIn conversation.

In Gmail, the extension has gotten smarter about helping you schedule. Instead of just showing your availability, it now displays your upcoming meetings, giving you better context when you're trying to find time to connect with someone.

These aren't flashy changes, but they're the kind of improvements that make your daily scheduling flow smoother and more natural.

Holiday Blocking Goes Global

We've expanded our holiday blocking feature to include many more countries. Users in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, and Estonia can now block their national holidays for the entire year with a single click.

This means no more manually blocking individual holidays or discovering you've been booked during a national holiday. One button press protects your time during your country's recognized holidays, letting you truly disconnect when it's culturally appropriate to do so.

The feature automatically updates each year, so you don't need to remember to refresh your holiday blocks annually.

Reviews and Booking Controls

Two final improvements that give you more control over your booking experience:

The reviews feature now lets you customize the email that gets sent when requesting a. This means you can match the tone and style to your brand, making the request feel more personal and increasing the likelihood of getting useful responses.

We've also added a new booking limit setting that lets you restrict how often the same email address can book with you. You can now set limits of once per day, week, month, or year per email address. This is particularly useful if you're offering free consultations or have limited-availability sessions that you want to distribute fairly among different people.

Additional Improvements

Beyond the major changes, we've fixed numerous smaller issues that improve your daily experience:

  • Booking pages now load faster by only loading timezone data when needed
  • Fixed unnamed attachments appearing in booking confirmations
  • Simplified data policy settings – the checkbox is now always required when enabled
  • Fixed timezone display issues on older booking page versions
  • Corrected host timezone display in notification emails
  • Resolved CRM dropdown display issues in data field settings
  • Fixed rare cases where data fields couldn't be saved
  • Addressed daylight saving time transition display problems
  • Fixed German DPA download issues
  • Improved timezone picker reliability
  • Restored missing default data fields in rare cases

These fixes might seem minor individually, but together they create a more reliable, polished experience that works consistently across all the different ways you and your contacts use meetergo.
