While some billionaires are tying the knot in Venice today, celebrating a very public union with gondolas and glamour, we’ve been busy officiating a marriage of our own here at meetergo. We’ve joined our powerful scheduling features with a sleeker, faster, and more intuitive user experience. Instead of cutting a cake, we’re cutting down on clicks and loading times. This isn't just an update; it's a commitment. A vow to make your scheduling life so effortlessly smooth, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. So, let’s pop the champagne (or a fizzy water, we don’t judge) and take a tour of the beautiful new union between simplicity and power in your meetergo account.
Your Booking Pages Said ‘I Do’ to a Makeover
You know that feeling when you put on a really great outfit? Everything just feels right. That’s the feeling we wanted for every single page your clients interact with. Your main booking page has been looking sharp for a while now with our improved design, but some of its companions were still wearing last season’s styles. Not anymore.
Now, the Cancel, Reschedule, and Double Opt-in confirmation pages have all received a full glow-up. They are now officially part of the new, modern booking page family. This means whenever someone needs to make a change or confirm their spot, they'll land on a page that is clean, beautiful, and perfectly consistent with your main booking page. It’s all one happy, cohesive family.
What does this mean for you?
- A Seamless Experience: Your clients get a consistent, professional look from the moment they book to the moment they confirm or reschedule. No more jarring transitions between different page styles.
- Faster Than a Best Man’s Toast: These new pages are built on our modern framework, which means they load significantly faster. Less waiting, more doing.
- Shareable Links That Actually Look Good: Have you ever shared a link on social media or in a chat, only for it to show up as a sad, generic URL? Those days are over. The new pages have much better metadata, which means when you or your clients share these links, they’ll generate beautiful, informative previews. It’s the digital equivalent of a great wedding invitation.
“But what about my old links?!” we hear you cry. Don't you worry. We believe in long, happy relationships. All your existing, older links for these pages will continue to work perfectly fine. We’re keeping the old pages running in the background for a while, like a cherished photo album. However, all new links generated within meetergo will point to these gorgeous new pages. Eventually, once we see the old links are no longer being used, we’ll give them a quiet, respectful retirement party.
As part of this housekeeping, we also fixed a rare but pesky issue. Occasionally, an appointment that was already canceled could be canceled or rescheduled again, leading to what we can only describe as a "zombie appointment." We’ve put a stop to that. Now, once a meeting is canceled, it stays canceled. No more awkward "I thought we canceled this?" moments.

Faster Than a Getaway Gondola
While we were dressing up the pages, our engineers decided to tune the engine. We’ve made significant performance improvements across the board for every page hosted on the cal.meetergo.com domain. This includes your booking pages, your business card, any forms you’ve created—all of it.
We did this by getting clever with how we handle translations. Without getting too technical, we’ve changed the process so that the initial page size is smaller and the server responds faster. It’s like we taught our pages to pack lighter for their trip to your browser. The result is a snappier, more responsive experience for everyone who visits your links.
And we’re not done. This is just the appetizer. Over the next week, we’ll be rolling out even more performance enhancements specifically aimed at reducing the time it takes for your available time slots to load on the booking page. Soon, your availability will appear almost instantly, making the booking process smoother than ever.

Finding the Perfect Duration is No Longer a Complicated Relationship
Relationships are about flexibility and clear communication, and your meeting durations should be too. The old way of setting durations, with a switch between "fixed" and "flexible" options, felt a bit rigid—like a stuffy, formal dinner party. We decided to loosen things up.
The distinction between fixed and flexible durations is gone. Now, there’s just one simple, elegant system. You simply add the specific durations you want to offer for a meeting type. That’s it.
Want to offer a quick 15-minute chat, a standard 45-minute consultation, and a deep-dive 90-minute session? Just add "15," "45," and "90" as options. Want to get creative and offer a quirky 23-minute power-up call? You can do that too. You can add as many custom duration options as you like. It’s more intuitive, gives you complete control, and removes a layer of complexity you never needed in the first place. It’s your meeting type; you should decide exactly how long it can be.

Your Reminders Now Know Exactly Who to Talk To
Automated reminders and follow-ups are a scheduler’s best friend. But sometimes, they can be a little too friendly, talking to everyone at once. Previously, when you set up a reminder or a follow-up email, it was sent to both you (the host) and your attendee by default. This is great most of the time, but not always.
Now, you have the power to direct your messages with precision. For every communication you set up, you can specify exactly who the recipient should be:
- Host: Only you get the message.
- Attendee: Only your client or guest gets the message.
- Both: Everyone gets the message (the classic).
This small change unlocks a world of possibilities. You can now send a host-only reminder an hour before a meeting that says, "Hey, don't forget to review the client's file!" without your client ever seeing it. Or, you could send an attendee-only follow-up with a link to a feedback survey. It puts you in the director’s chair, ensuring the right message gets to the right person at the right time.

Making Your Automated Emails Sound More Human
Finally, let's talk about the little things that make a big difference. When you use a variable like {!M.Meeting.Channel}
in your emails to state how the meeting will take place, you want it to sound natural and professional, not like a robot wrote it.
We’ve reviewed and improved the names that this variable produces to be more human-readable and correctly branded. For example, instead of the slightly generic "Local" or "Teams," your emails will now look much more polished:
- Local is now In-person Meeting
- Phone is now Phone Call
- Teams is now Microsoft Teams
- …and more!
This change has been applied across all supported languages, so your communications will feel more personal and professional no matter where your clients are. It’s a subtle touch, but like a perfectly folded pocket square, it completes the look.
